About the Role

As HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in providing HR guidance and support to the WA and SA leadership teams and broader business regions, a workforce of approximately 1000 employees collectively.  

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Managing complex employee and industrial relations matters, investigations, case management, including Fair Work Commission conciliation hearings.
  • Providing strategic assistance on enterprise agreements and compliance matters;
  • Actively contributing to enterprise agreement negotiations, whilst leveraging support of an IR Specialist;
  • Leading HR initiatives aligned to commercial and people-centric goals;
  • Coaching leaders to build capability, advise on workforce planning, and foster trusted partnerships;
  • Lead and support culture, engagement and change initiatives to drive efficiencies.
About You

You will be a true partner to your stakeholders, and thrive in an environment where you can take ownership for your portfolio and support others’ success.
  
Additionally, you will posses:
  • 5 years minimum experience in a HRBP/Senior HRBP role within a large diverse organisation within an industrial and unionised business;
  • Significant experience in managing complex employee and industrial matters, including a proven track record in managing EBA negotiations with unions;
  • Ability to balance strategic responsibilities with hands on leadership and coaching;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder relationships;
  • Proactive and outcomes focused approach, with strong commercial acumen;
  • Significant change management, restructure experience/M&A experience;
  • Analytical mindset and the ability to present informed solutions for improvements;
  • Work injury management experience is highly desirable;
  • Demonstrated experience in change management and restructures;
  • Efficiency in managing high priority tasks in an extremely fast paced, reactive environments;
