About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Business Partnering, this role supports a key operational division and sits on the leadership team for the NSW business.
This is a highly visible, hands-on HR Business Partner role with a strong focus on employment and industrial relations. You will partner closely with senior operational leaders across multiple sites, acting as a trusted advisor while managing a consistent flow of complex workforce matters.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Partnering with leaders on organisational change, workforce planning and capability uplift
  • Managing end-to-end ER/IR matters including grievances, investigations, conduct issues and disputes
  • Interpreting and applying Enterprise Agreements.
  • Supporting Enterprise Agreement preparation and negotiations
  • Providing data-driven insights across people metrics, including ER trends and workforce analytics
  • Driving consistency in people processes.
  • Supporting broader business initiatives and cultural uplift across the division
This is a role where you’ll be close to the ground... influencing, coaching and delivering outcomes in a complex, industrial environment.

About You
You are a credible and hands-on HR Business Partner with strong ER/IR experience gained within industrial or blue-collar environments. You bring deep capability managing complex employee relations matters, and are confident operating in unionised settings, including building relationships with union reps and supporting EAs in practice. Pragmatic, resilient and commercially aware, you build trust quickly with leaders and are comfortable balancing strategic input with hands-on delivery across a dispersed, operational workforce.
