About Them
Our client is a large, dynamic organisation operating across multiple regions, supporting critical assets that keep communities and industries running. With a significant workforce and a highly unionised environment, the business is currently evolving how it manages employee relations - bringing greater consistency, structure, and forward-thinking practices to the way workplace matters are handled. This is a great time to join, with real opportunity to contribute to how ER is shaped moving forward.

About the Role
Reporting into the ER Manager, this role sits within a central ER function supporting leaders across the business. You’ll get hands-on with a mix of case work from performance and conduct matters through to grievances, while also acting as a trusted sounding board for managers navigating people issues. It’s a practical, sleeves-rolled-up role where you’ll be drafting documentation, guiding conversations, and helping land fair, balanced outcomes, while knowing when to escalate more complex matters.

About You
You’re tertiary qualified and bring solid experience from a large, structured organisation where ER processes really matter. You’re comfortable working within frameworks and able to translate them into clear, practical guidance for leaders. You also enjoy getting into the detail of cases while keeping the bigger picture in mind. Most importantly, you bring sound judgement, strong communication skills, and the confidence to handle sensitive situations with care.
