The Role
As Employee Relations (ER) Specialist you will provide high level support and advice to leaders and the Human Resources (HR) team relating to ER matters, actively contributing to the development and implementation of ER strategies, creating an environment that enhances employee engagement and supports the organisation’s strategic direction.
  
Key focuses:

  • Build strong working relationships based on credibility and open communication to proactively provide expert ER advice to leaders, the HR team and other key stakeholders;
  • Develop, update and manage the implementation of ER frameworks, policies and enterprise bargaining activities to support the organisation’s strategic direction and fulfill legislative, industrial and employer responsibilities;
  • Manage complex ER matters, in partnership with relevant stakeholders, including, case management and investigations, disciplinary action and representing the organisation at commissions, when needed;
  • Develop and deliver presentations and information sessions, educating and informing leaders on ER matters.
