Are you an experienced Employee Relations practioner with a passion for capability uplift, early resolution, and shaping modern ER practice?

As the ER Advisory Team Leader, you will help build the frameworks, rituals and behaviours that ensure employee relations issues are resolved early, consistently and constructively.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the GM of People Services, you will:
  • Shape and embed the operating rhythm for a newly established ER Advisory team focused on middle-tier matters
  • Drive a timely, accessible, and relationship-based approach to issue resolution
  • Encourage in-person engagement wherever possible, reducing escalation and adversarial pathways
  • Coach and guide Advisors to work with curiosity, empathy and solution-oriented thinking
  • Partner with senior HR colleagues to uplift leader and manager capability, ensuring recurring issues are addressed systemically
  • Provide insights that inform preventative ER strategy, policy refinement and practice improvement
  • Bring or develop foundational IR capability to navigate enterprise agreements, conduct and performance matters and early dispute resolution frameworks
About You

You will bring:
  • Strong ER advisory and/or case management experience
  • Experience leading or mentoring others within an ER or HR advisory function
  • A proactive, coaching-focused approach to ER - not just resolution, but prevention
  • Confidence in guiding in-person conversations, challenging thinking, and building relationships
  • The ability to set up new practices and ways of working within a dynamic environment
  • Ideally, some exposure to industrial relations or regulated environments
  • Your style matters just as much as your technical depth. We're seeking someone with enthusiasm, energy, and a genuine commitment to improving the experience of employees, leaders and stakeholders
