We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Employee Relations Lead to join a well-known organisation in the FMCG space, on an initial 6-month contract. This newly created role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building structure and consistency, and is confident advising on a variety of ER and IR matters.

About the Role
Working closely with senior leaders and the broader HR team, this role will focus on lifting the maturity of ER frameworks, supporting compliance, and helping prepare for future enterprise bargaining.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the team of HR Business Partners and site leaders to resolve ER issues and embed best-practice approaches
  • Contributing to enterprise bargaining strategy and preparation
  • Developing and refining ER tools, templates, and process documentation
  • Supporting mediation, Fair Work and NZ employment matters with a strong compliance lens
  • Driving policy governance and providing legislative advice across ANZ
  • Leading the Enterprise Bargaining SteerCo – managing documentation, timelines, and continuous improvement
About You
An experienced ER practitioner or HR Business Partner with strong employee relations knowledge and a calm, collaborative style, you enjoy solving complex issues and helping others build capability. You’re confident in navigating employment legislation and understand how to engage operational leaders and build credibility quickly.

In addition, you will bring:
  • Proven experience in employee and industrial relations across ANZ
  • Familiarity with enterprise agreements and bargaining strategy
  • Strong understanding of Fair Work legislation and NZ employment law
  • Comfortable supporting a large, distributed, unionised workforce
  • Curious, low-ego, and relationship-oriented
  • Background in manufacturing, logistics or FMCG highly regarded
