About the Role

The divisional Head of People and Culture is responsible for leading both the day-to-day people function and people strategy across two processing sites, one being the largest in Australia, working closely with site leaders to support engagement, capability, and performance.

Responsible for managing a sizeable wider HR team with several direct reports, this role oversees workforce planning, talent development, and cultural initiatives while ensuring strong compliance with industrial relations and workplace health and safety requirements across a large, diverse workforce.

Leading initiatives to build a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture to enrich leadership capability, manage performance, and support change, whilst ensuring compliance with workplace legislation, enterprise agreements, and company policies.

This is a full-time onsite role located in the Ipswich region. Experience leading a an onsite, predominantly blue collar unionised operational workforce is essential and you must possess several years of demonstrated successful senior leadership experience. 

About You
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in a Lead HR operations, Lead HR compliance, and/or Lead HR function - requiring a highly experienced senior HR Leader.
  • Strong knowledge of Employee relations and labour management, employee lifecycle processes, and HR best practices.
  • Ability to work in a large fast-paced, dynamic, operational-focused environment and manage multiple priorities. FMCG/Food Manufacturing background is highly regarded. 
  • Strong Leadership and Influencing skills are paramount.
