You will build a best-in-class People & Culture function from day one and partner directly with founders who value bold ideas and decisive action. You will shape the DNA of a company that has strong financial backing to repeat their previous success and rapidly grow the business. You will influence decisions at the highest level while staying hands-on and connected to the team
Reporting to a co-founder, you’ll lead the people agenda across the Sydney corporate office and a flagship NZ site. It’s equal parts strategy and action — setting the long-term people plan while also rolling up your sleeves to make it happen. In this role, you will drive culture, engagement and values alignment across both countries. You will also design and implement HR systems, policies and frameworks for scale and oversee the workforce planning and Talent Acquisition strategy. You will also build leadership capability and career pathways and be the trusted advisor to the executive team, shaping culture and business performance.
You’re a hands-on, high-energy leader who thrives in entrepreneurial, greenfield environments. You have a track record of building and scaling HR functions in fast-growth or operationally complex settings — ideally in resources, infrastructure, or other asset-intensive industries. You can navigate both Australian and New Zealand employment landscapes and relish the challenge of balancing strategic impact with day-to-day delivery.
