This CBD based, purpose driven insurance organisation has an influential opportunity for an experienced people‑leader to shape the future of performance, reward, and workforce insights and create and embed programs that will drive a high-performance culture. This role plays a pivotal part in strengthening organisational capability, driving evidence‑based decision‑making, and ensuring robust governance across all performance and remuneration frameworks.

About the Role
Reporting to the GM of Employee Experience and partnering with stakeholders including P&C Business Partners and executive team members, you will lead a small team comprising a Reward Manager and 2 Analysts.  You will be accountable for designing, developing, implementing and managing the performance, reward and accountability strategy for the enterprise for Board approval.  You will also play a key role in enabling the business to apply a consistent and rigorous framework to meet strategy, performance & compliance requirements.  Some of your activities will include:
  • End‑to‑end reward management, including performance frameworks, remuneration cycles, and policy governance
  • Leadership of analytics, insights, and reporting, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and strategic value
  • Partner with senior leaders and P&C business partners translating complex data into meaningful insights that inform executive decision‑making and organisational strategy
  • Oversee optimisation of people & workforce metrics and dashboards to track and visualise KPI’s.
  • Oversee development and presentation of key metrics to evaluate People Experience delivery and compliance with proactive auditing, exception reporting and operational metric development & deployment.
  • Research and prepare Board papers on remuneration and performance matters.
About You
Tertiary qualified, you are a seasoned remuneration professional and will bring a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong judgement. You are experienced with people analytics and data governance and can demonstrate where you have used date to drive decisions and change behaviours.  While direct experience in governance and Board reporting is highly valued, the organisation is also open to exceptional candidates who demonstrate capability, maturity, and the potential to step into this level of responsibility.
