Our client is a  well established, people-focused organisation is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to step into a 6-week contract covering planned leave. This hands-on role is suited to someone who brings strong HR experience, can hit the ground running, and thrives working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you'll be the go-to person for HR operational support and advice, with a focus on maintaining systems, managing processes, and supporting leaders and employees through key touchpoints.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing onboarding, probation, and offboarding processes via the HRIS
  • Drafting employment documentation, contracts, and changes to conditions
  • Conducting compliance checks including WWCC, VEVO and Police Checks
  • Acting as first point of contact for employee and leader queries
  • Providing end-to-end recruitment support including job ads, screening, interviews and reference checks
  • Maintaining accurate employee data, reporting and documentation
About You
You’ll be confident operating independently and bring:
  • Proven experience in a HR Advisor or similar generalist role
  • Strong working knowledge of HR processes and Australian employment practices in complex environments
  • Experience using HRIS platforms
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A solutions-focused, adaptable approach and ability to manage competing priorities
