About the role:
They are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic HR Advisor to support the Head of HR based in Melbourne. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor who is looking to grow and progress into a Human Resources Business Partner role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with leaders to build trusted relationships and provide expert HR advice on workforce planning, performance management, and employee relations.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, prepare contracts, coordinate onboarding activities, and ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Provide guidance on grievances, investigations, and terminations while ensuring adherence to employment legislation, enterprise agreements, and HR policies.
- Support initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive culture and continuous improvement across HR operations.
- Contribute to HR projects and use HR metrics and analytics to support evidence-based decision-making and workforce planning.
- Proven experience in a generalist HR or HR Business Partner role
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation, and industrial relations
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
