About the Role
Reporting to the HR Business Manager, the Human Resources Advisor will provide generalist HR support across a diverse operational workforce. This role partners closely with leaders to deliver practical advice across the employee lifecycle while ensuring compliance with employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with leaders to provide day-to-day HR advice and coaching.
- Supporting employee relations matters including performance management, misconduct, grievances and workplace investigations.
- Providing guidance on employment legislation, company policies, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, probation and offboarding activities.
- Assisting with workforce planning, organisational change and restructuring initiatives.
- Contributing to HR projects, policy development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Building strong relationships across operational sites through regular site engagement.
- Supporting workforce reporting, compliance and people-related analytics.
About You
To be successful in this role you will bring previous experience in a generalist Human Resources position and enjoy partnering with leaders to deliver practical, commercially focused people solutions.
You will ideally possess:
- Approximately 3-5 years' experience in a Human Resources Advisor or similar generalist role.
- Sound understanding of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Experience supporting employee relations matters including performance management, grievances and investigations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to build trusted relationships across operational environments with preference for agriculture or food manufacturing
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
