An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join the People & Culture team, providing dedicated HR support at one of the organisation's key operational sites in the Perth Hills.
  
Working alongside operational leaders and employees, this role offers the opportunity to become a trusted business partner within a fast-paced manufacturing environment where people, performance and culture are central to business success.
  
About the Role
   
Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner, you will provide hands-on HR support across a busy operational site, partnering closely with leaders to deliver practical, commercially focused people solutions.
  
As the first point of contact for day-to-day HR matters, you'll play an important role in supporting leaders across the full employee lifecycle while ensuring employment practices remain compliant, consistent and aligned with business objectives.
  
Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing practical HR advice and coaching to frontline leaders.
  • Supporting employee relations matters including performance management, investigations, grievances and disciplinary processes.
  • Providing guidance on employment legislation, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements and company policies.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities.
  • Building strong relationships with employees and leaders across the site.
  • Assisting with organisational change and workforce initiatives.
  • Supporting leadership capability through coaching and advice.
  • Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring accurate HR documentation and compliance across the employee lifecycle. 
This is a highly visible role where you'll spend time on the floor, building relationships with leaders and employees while helping create a positive and productive workplace culture.
  
About You
You are an experienced HR professional who enjoys working in operational environments and building trusted relationships with leaders.
You thrive in a hands-on role where no two days are the same and are confident providing practical advice across a broad range of employee relations and people matters.
  
You will bring:
  • Previous experience in a Human Resources Advisor or similar generalist HR role.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
  • Experience supporting employee relations matters including performance management, investigations and workplace conflict.
  • Strong coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to balance operational priorities while maintaining high levels of professionalism and confidentiality.
Experience working within manufacturing, food production, logistics, agriculture or other operational environments will be highly regarded.
