About the Role
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract reporting to the HR Director. The Human Resources Business Partner will join a close-knit team in a true generalist role, with a focus on providing coaching and mentorship across the organisation. The position offers a hybrid working model and is based in a convenient location close to public transport. This is a Level 9/10 role, and immediate availability is preferred.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, including performance management, grievances, and misconduct, in accordance with relevant legislation and public sector policies.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships while promoting best practice HR solutions.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure compliance with merit-based selection principles.
  
About You
You are a well-rounded HR generalist with strong experience in managing grievances and complaints. Resilient and confident, you know when to push back and can navigate complex issues with professionalism. Government sector experience is essential, along with the ability to interpret and advise on the Government Sector Employment (GSE) Act.
