About the Role

Operational HR Support & Stakeholder Partnership
Collaborate closely with site leaders to address workforce planning, performance management, employee engagement, and strategic HR practices that support daily mining operations. 

Employee Relations & Compliance
Provide expert advice on industrial relations, Fair Work matters, performance issues, investigations, enterprise agreement interpretation, and HR policy compliance. 

Implementation of Site People & Culture Initiatives
Translate corporate HR strategies into site-level action - support leadership development, inclusion initiatives, workforce transformation, and performance frameworks aligned with company values such as Safety, Excellence, Accountability, and Respect. 

HR Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Support monthly P&C reporting, provide business insight using HR analytics, and contribute to budgeting and workforce metrics improvements.


Fortnightly Roster:

  • Week 1: Monday to Thursday on-site, Friday work from home, Saturday and Sunday off
  • Week 2: Monday to Thursday on-site, Friday to Sunday off
About You
  • Experienced in operational business partnering with heavy industry (at least 2 years)
  • Exposure and understanding of EAs and their applications
  • Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, the NES and how awards work
  • Experienced in facilitating performance management
  • Adept at collating and interpreting data and coordination of reports
  • Understanding of job benchmarking and setting salaries
  • Experience supporting annual salary review
