About the Company
Based in various locations across Melbourne's Western Suburbs, this organisation are one of Victorias largest providers of community health services. They are currently looking for an experienced HR Advisor/ Business Partner to join them for an initial 3 month contract with strong potential to go permanent. 
  
About the Role
In this role, you will deliver operational HR support to a dedicated client group, providing considered advice whilst supporting the overall business strategy.  You will be responsible for providing day-to-day HR support across the business,  have experience interpreting and advising on EBAs and managing complaints / grievances.  

You will make an impact by:

  • Delivering generalist HR Support and advice;
  • Managing employee relationships and acting as first point of contact for HR queries;
  • Support Employee Relation matters including the grievance & disciplinary process through effective investigations;
  • Enterprise Agreement interpretation and providing considered advice
  • Work closely with the HR team to identify, review and update HR Practices aligned to legislative and business requirements.
About You
You are an experienced HR practitioner, have a good understand of ER/IR practices, and demonstrated ability interpreting and providing EBA advice. You are great at building collaborative relationships, an excellent problem solver with good commercial acumen. You will have a can-do attitude, attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative approach.
You will have:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a HR Advisor or People & Culture Business Partner.
  • Experience managing complaints and grievances; complex case management highly regarded but not essential.
  • Background working in diverse, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and confidently challenge when required.
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise effectively, work autonomously, and seek guidance when needed.
