About the roles
Reporting to a Senior HR Leader, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to leaders across the business, supporting the full employee lifecycle and delivering high-quality people and culture advice. The roles balance operational delivery with strategic input, helping leaders make confident, consistent people decisions while ensuring strong compliance and governance.
You’ll partner closely with stakeholders to uplift people capability, embed fit-for-purpose HR frameworks and support the ongoing evolution of culture, performance and engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to provide timely, pragmatic HR advice across employee relations, performance management, investigations and employee lifecycle matters
- Support and embed HR policies, procedures and people frameworks aligned to business needs
- Contribute to workforce planning, role clarity, organisational design and change initiatives
- Coach and support leaders to build confidence and capability in people management
- Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation, modern awards, enterprise agreements and internal policies
- Support people and culture initiatives that enhance engagement, wellbeing and performance
- Analyse people data and trends to inform decision-making and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with People & Culture colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders
You’re a confident, adaptable HR professional who builds credibility quickly and enjoys working across diverse, fast-paced environments. You bring sound judgement, strong communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
You’ll also bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in a generalist HR or HR Business Partner role
- Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and ER/IR practices
- Experience supporting leaders through performance, change and complex people matters
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and coaching capability
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a broader team
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business or a related discipline
- Experience in Not for Profit, Sales or FMCG environments (highly regarded)
- Exposure to a range of organisations and operating environments
- Broad, end-to-end HRBP roles with genuine influence
