You would be joining a stable and well regarded HR function where people are trusted to work flexibly and where the team collaborates closely across sites and office locations. HR is well positioned within the business and has strong visibility at both local and regional levels.
 
About the Role
This is a national HR Business Partner position supporting the entire manufacturing workforce across Australia. It offers a blend of strategic influence and practical delivery, with work that spans enterprise bargaining, union engagement, workforce planning, capability uplift and day to day operational HR.

Key elements of the role include
  • Leading and advising on enterprise bargaining and manufacturing agreements
  • Partnering with unions and bringing confidence to negotiation cycles
  • Coaching managers and supporting leaders across varied capability levels
  • Advising on employee relations, performance, talent and succession
  • Supporting operational HR needs that arise across busy manufacturing sites
  • Working closely with a supportive Head of HR and a collaborative national HR team
  • You will also have access to strong HR systems capability, involvement in APAC and global HR initiatives and a genuinely flexible working approach.

You will bring
  • Strong HR Business Partnering experience within manufacturing or industrial operations from within Australia 
  • Confidence in industrial relations and experience leading bargaining
  • Ability to navigate a unionised environment with professionalism and composure
  • A hands on mindset combined with strategic thinking
  • Strong coaching and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfort working in an environment that is fast paced, varied and sometimes ambiguous

Unlike many HRBP roles supporting manufacturing sites this role offers hybrid working arrangements with 2 - 3 days onsite (Wetherill Park, Sydney) and 2 WFH.
