About the Role
This permanent role is a Senior HR Advisor/Junior HR Business Partner, ideal for someone truly ready for a Business Partner opportunity who wants to be part of a progressive, agile work environment who has undergone rapid growth in the past few years, growing up to 3000 employees nationally - Someone with experience in a start-up environment or an organisation with a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions, would do well in this company.
Reporting to a fantastic Group HR Manager, you will be part of a wider highly motivated, high-performing and engaging HR team. Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Provides end-to-end HR generalist support across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance, engagement, development, and offboarding, with a strong emphasis on employee relations and issue resolution to a workforce of approximately 200 employees.
- Acts as a key, trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing timely guidance on HR policies, workplace matters, and employee relations issues such as conduct, performance management, attendance, and grievances. You will specifically be supporting a portfolio of call centre employees - experience in this would be highly regarded.
- Manages HR systems, employee data, reporting, and HR enquiries, ensuring accurate records, efficient processes, and timely resolution of issues, while identifying opportunities to improve service delivery.
- Supports cyclical HR activities and people initiatives including engagement, compliance reporting, salary review processes, and communications, partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective delivery across the business.
- This role would be ideal for someone located North Brisbane as there will be periodic travel to Maroochydore, Sunshine Coast (once a month)
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
- 2+ years’ experience in a People & Culture generalist role, with exposure to mergers and acquisitions highly regarded. Experience in financial services is advantageous, and/or supporting a call centre cohort would be highly regarded.
- Solid ER experience dealing with volume people matters.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels.
- Demonstrated experience contributing to projects and applying structured project methodologies.
- Comfortable working in environments with remote or distributed teams - a commercial mindset is essential
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities, with solid knowledge of HR policies and systems.
