About Them
Are you a pragmatic and engaging HR professional looking for a part-time opportunity where you can combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery? This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, close-knit People & Culture team within a specialised, professional environment.

About the Role
This role sits within a well-established and collaborative organisation of approximately 80 employees and contractors, operating in a specialised space across technology. Despite its size, the organisation has a strong leadership culture with a high number of people managers and a genuinely people-focused approach.

You’ll partner closely with leaders across the business while also rolling up your sleeves to deliver core HR activities. This is a true generalist role with variety, ownership and impact.

Initially offered at 3 days per week, there is a strong likelihood the role will expand to 4 days as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted partner to leaders, providing practical and commercially focused HR advice
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Support performance management, development, and engagement initiatives
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters (low-volume, largely informal environment)
  • Contribute to learning and development activities
  • Oversee policy, compliance, and contract management
  • Collaborate on HR projects, including a current HRIS implementation
  • Ensure smooth HR operations, working closely with internal support resources
About You
  • Proven experience operating in an HR Business Partner role (or an HR Manager looking for some work life balance) from within Australia
  • Comfortable balancing strategic partnering with hands-on execution
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build relationships across all levels
  • Pragmatic, adaptable and comfortable working in a less structured, agile environment
  • Detail-oriented and willing to take ownership of process, policy and compliance work
  • Confident working autonomously while staying connected to a small, collaborative team
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or relevant area
