An established organisation in the transport sector is seeking short‑term HR support in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment where leaders value practical ER advice, on‑the-ground presence and someone who can build rapport quickly across multiple sites.
About the role
This is a 3 month contract supporting several key Sydney locations, including Pyrmont, Randwick and Rosehill/Parramatta. You’ll be the in-person HR presence for leaders and staff, providing day-to-day HR and ER guidance across a predominantly blue‑collar workforce.
You will:
- Partner with managers and team leaders on ER matters
- Support attendance issues, misconduct, investigations and escalation processes
- Provide on-site HR support across multiple locations (high travel component)
About you
You will be a confident HR generalist with strong ER capability and a practical, on-the-ground approach.
We’re looking for someone with:
- 3–5 years’ experience in a similar HR Advisor or Junior HRBP role
- Experience supporting blue‑collar or industrial workforces
- Understanding of Enterprise Agreements
- Ability to manage investigations and provide ER guidance
- Comfort working across multiple sites with significant travel
- Strong stakeholder partnering skills and willingness to pitch in with admin
