As the People & Culture function continues to evolve, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join a collaborative HR team supporting a large, operational workforce across manufacturing and agribusiness operations.

About the Role
   
Reporting to the Group Manager – Human Resources, the Human Resources Business Partner will provide operational HR support to business leaders across a diverse workforce at their facility located in Perth Hills + WFH flexibility.
  
Partnering closely with operational leadership teams, you will deliver practical people solutions while leading complex employee and industrial relations matters, supporting organisational change and driving initiatives that strengthen leadership capability and workforce performance.
  
Key responsibilities include:  
  • Partnering with leaders to develop and implement people strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Providing trusted advice across employee and industrial relations, workforce planning and organisational change.
  • Leading complex employee relations matters including investigations, grievances, disciplinary processes and performance management.
  • Coaching and developing leaders to build capability and strengthen people management practices.
  • Providing expert guidance on employment legislation, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements and organisational policies.
  • Supporting workforce planning, organisational design and talent development initiatives.
  • Driving continuous improvement across HR processes, policies and service delivery.
  • Using workforce data and reporting to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Providing guidance and support to the HR Advisor to ensure consistent and high-quality HR service delivery.

About You
You are an experienced HR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders to deliver practical, commercially focused people solutions while balancing strategic thinking with operational delivery.
  
You will bring:
  • Demonstrated experience in a Human Resources Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
  • Proven experience managing complex employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management and conflict resolution.
  • Well-developed coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting organisational change, workforce planning and leadership capability initiatives.
  • The ability to interpret workforce data and translate insights into practical business solutions.
  • A collaborative approach with strong commercial judgement and excellent communication skills. 
Experience within manufacturing, food production, agribusiness or other operational environments will be highly regarded, as will experience supporting Enterprise Agreement and unionised workforces.
