We’re partnering with a small, growing business based in Frenchs Forest
to find an experienced HR Generalist
for a 6 to 12-month fixed-term contract, working 3 to 4 days per week.
About the Role
This is a broad and varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and making a difference in a close-knit team.
You'll be responsible for the full scope of HR generalist activities, along with some key project work—including leading an EVP (Employee Value Proposition) project, refreshing and updating HR policies, and supporting ongoing process improvements. The role will also include providing coverage while the Head of HR is on leave for 5 weeks.
- End-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle
- Coaching and advising managers on HR matters
- Reviewing and updating policies and documentation
- Supporting or leading project work, including EVP and culture initiatives
- Covering core HR responsibilities during the Head of HR’s leave period
- Strong generalist HR experience—ideally in small or medium-sized businesses and within Australia
- Confident working independently and managing multiple priorities
- A hands-on, proactive approach and strong relationship skills
- Available to commit to a 3–4 day work week over 6–12 months
