We are currently seeking an HR Coordinator
to join a supportive People & Culture team within a large, values-driven community services organisation. Located in Melbourne’s west, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while building your HR career.
About the Role
This is an initial 3-month contract where you'll work closely with experienced HR Business Partners, gaining exposure to a wide range of HR processes and projects. The role is offered full-time but may also be available on a 4-day per week basis, with a flexible hybrid arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries from managers and employees
- Support with staff movement workflows, reporting, and HR documentation
- Assist in developing and streamlining HR processes to improve the employee experience
- Create reference guides and provide training on HRIS systems
- Contribute to compliance, continuous improvement, and process efficiency initiatives
- Support end to end recrutiment, onboarding and offboarding.
- Previous experience in an HR Coordinator role (or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and passion for process improvement
- Confident working with HRIS systems
- Ability to interpret EBAs (health sector experience advantageous but not essential)
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and ability to work at pace in an agile environement.
