About the role
This is a part time HR Coordinator opportunity, working three days per week on a 12 month fixed term contract with potential to extend. Supporting the broader People and Culture function, you will be involved across a variety of operational and advisory activities while working closely with HR leadership.
You will play a key role in delivering smooth HR processes and contributing to a positive employee experience across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Driving the full employee lifecycle including recruitment coordination, onboarding, offboarding, probation processes, change letters and secondments
  • Acting as a first point of contact for general HR enquiries, managing the HR inbox and escalating matters where appropriate
  • Maintaining accurate HR records, reporting and data, with a strong focus on detail and data integrity
  • Supporting HR reporting and insights across Excel, SharePoint and evolving Power BI dashboards
  • Providing administrative and coordination support across HR projects and initiatives on an ad hoc basis e.g, learning and development activities, performance and development review process, employee culture and wellbeing events etc
  • Supporting employee relations matters in an administrative or note taking capacity where required
  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives as the team works to move away from manual processes and uplift systems and ways of working
  
About you
This role will suit an early career HR professional who is confident operating in a hands-on, fast moving environment and is ready to take ownership of their work.
You will bring
  • Around 2 years’ experience in a HR, people operations or HR coordinator role, with exposure to the full employee lifecycle
  • A relevant qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline, or currently working towards one
  • A strong attention to detail, particularly across reporting, data management and documentation
  • Confidence working in manual and evolving environments, with a mindset focused on continuous improvement
  • Intermediate capability across Excel and the Microsoft 365 suite, with the ability to work confidently in spreadsheets, Outlook and SharePoint
  • A proactive, reliable and accountable approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities independently
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, service focused attitude
  • An interest in developing your HR capability over the duration of the contract
  • Full working rights in Australia for the duration of the contract
