Our client is a well regarded not for profit organisation based in Sydney's eastern suburbs, supporting a vibrant and diverse community. With a collaborative culture and a close knit HR team, they are seeking a HR Generalist to provide support during a period of parental leave.
About the role
This is a 6–8 month contract opportunity supporting a busy HR function during a period of parental leave. Reporting into a collaborative HR team, you will provide broad generalist support across recruitment, employee enquiries and HR administration.
This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys variety and is happy to roll up their sleeves to support day to day HR operations..
Key responsibilities include:
- End to end recruitment across a range of casual positions
- Coordinating a large annual recruitment campaign for approximately 40–50 hires
- Responding to HR enquiries via phone and shared inbox
- Providing general HR administration and employee lifecycle support
- Assisting with onboarding and recruitment processes
- Working closely with a small and collaborative HR team
About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in a HR Generalist, HR Coordinator or HR Advisor role
- Strong recruitment experience and confidence managing end to end hiring processes
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive and customer focused approach
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
