About them
Our client is a well regarded not for profit organisation based in Sydney's eastern suburbs, supporting a vibrant and diverse community. With a collaborative culture and a close knit HR team, they are seeking a HR Generalist to provide support during a period of parental leave.

About the role
This is a 6–8 month contract opportunity supporting a busy HR function during a period of parental leave. Reporting into a collaborative HR team, you will provide broad generalist support across recruitment, employee enquiries and HR administration.
This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys variety and is happy to roll up their sleeves to support day to day HR operations..
Key responsibilities include:
  • End to end recruitment across a range of casual positions
  • Coordinating a large annual recruitment campaign for approximately 40–50 hires
  • Responding to HR enquiries via phone and shared inbox
  • Providing general HR administration and employee lifecycle support
  • Assisting with onboarding and recruitment processes
  • Working closely with a small and collaborative HR team

About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Previous experience in a HR Generalist, HR Coordinator or HR Advisor role
  • Strong recruitment experience and confidence managing end to end hiring processes
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive and customer focused approach
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
