About the Role
Reporting to the Head of P&C Business Partnering, this role leads the People & Culture function for a sizeable operational workforce and partners closely with executive and senior leaders to drive strategic people outcomes.
Leading a team of HR professionals, you will provide trusted advice across workforce planning, employee and industrial relations, organisational capability, leadership development and change. You will play a key role in shaping culture, influencing business decisions and ensuring people initiatives are aligned to operational priorities.
Key areas of focus include:
- Partnering with senior leaders to deliver workforce and people strategies.
- Leading enterprise bargaining, union engagement and industrial relations matters.
- Driving talent, succession, engagement and leadership capability initiatives.
- Using workforce insights and data to inform decision-making and business outcomes.
- Developing and leading a high-performing P&C team.
- Collaborating with specialist HR functions to deliver integrated people solutions.
You are a commercially minded HR leader who thrives in complex operational environments and enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
You bring strong stakeholder management skills and are confident partnering with senior leaders to influence people and business outcomes. You are comfortable navigating industrial environments, leading teams and driving initiatives that improve capability, performance and culture.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Experience operating in a senior HR leadership or business partnering role.
- Strong employee and industrial relations capability, including enterprise bargaining and union engagement.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with Executive level operational leaders.
- Proven people leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop teams.
- Strong workforce planning, organisational capability and change management experience.
- A collaborative, pragmatic and commercially focused approach.
