As the Organisation continues to evolve and grow, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join the leadership team and take ownership of the people function across a diverse portfolio of businesses. Based in Eastern Suburbs, this permanent role offers the opportunity to work closely with Directors and senior leaders, influence business strategy, and drive people initiatives that support continued growth and operational success. 

About the Role
Reporting directly to senior leadership, this is a broad and influential HR leadership position encompassing both strategic and operational responsibilities.

You will act as a trusted advisor to Directors and business leaders across multiple entities, providing expert guidance on all aspects of people management while leading initiatives that strengthen culture, capability, engagement and organisational performance.

This role requires a commercially minded HR professional who can operate confidently at both a strategic and hands-on level. With multiple business units, leadership styles and operational environments to support, success will come from your ability to build strong relationships, navigate complexity and deliver pragmatic, solutions-focused outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing strategic HR advice and coaching to Directors and senior leaders
  • Leading employee relations, performance management and workplace investigations
  • Driving workforce planning, talent acquisition and succession planning initiatives
  • Developing and implementing people strategies aligned to business objectives
  • Reviewing and enhancing HR policies, procedures and frameworks
  • Supporting organisational change, growth and transformation initiatives
  • Managing employee engagement, culture and retention programs
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, awards and HR best practice
  • Identifying opportunities to improve capability, leadership effectiveness and people processes
  • Acting as the key HR leader across a diverse and dynamic portfolio of businesses
About You
You are an experienced HR leader who combines strong commercial acumen with excellent relationship-building skills and a practical approach to problem-solving.

Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, you enjoy partnering with senior stakeholders, influencing decision-making and delivering people solutions that balance commercial outcomes with employee experience.

You will bring:
  • Proven experience in a HR Manager, Senior HR Business Partner or equivalent leadership role
  • Strong expertise across employee relations, performance management and employment legislation
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with senior executives and business leaders
  • A track record of developing and implementing people strategies that support business growth
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and coaching skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities across multiple business units
  • A proactive, commercially focused and solutions-oriented approach
  • Experience leading HR initiatives within complex and evolving environments
