We are partnering with a well-established organisation within the healthcare and community services sector to recruit an HR Officer to join their People & Culture team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle while contributing to meaningful work that positively impacts the community.

Reporting to the HR Team Leader - Operations, you will provide broad generalist HR support across employee relations, recruitment, HR administration, reporting, systems, and People & Culture initiatives.
About the Role As a key member of the People & Culture team, you will:
  • Provide HR advice and support to employees and managers
  • Manage HR enquiries and support the People & Culture inbox
  • Assist with recruitment activities including advertising and position management
  • Support employee relations matters and case management administration
  • Coordinate performance review and remuneration review processes
  • Maintain HR systems and employee records
  • Prepare workforce reports and HR analytics
  • Support People & Culture projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist with compliance, policy development, and organisational reporting
  • Collaborate with Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate and compliant people processes
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in a generalist HR, HR Advisor, HR Coordinator, or HR Officer role
  • Knowledge of employment legislation, awards, and employee relations principles
  • Experience producing HR reports and analysing workforce data
  • Strong HRIS and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • A high level of attention to detail and confidentiality
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work
Highly Regarded
  • Experience within healthcare, community services, aged care, disability, or not-for-profit sectors
  • Exposure to payroll processes
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety administration
  • Experience using ELMO or a similar HRIS platform
