About the Organisation

This large, nationally recognised private healthcare provider operates multiple hospital sites across Australia and is known for delivering high-quality patient care in a highly regulated, fast-paced clinical environment.

With a combined workforce of approximately 1,000 employees across two Queensland hospitals, the organisation includes a diverse mix of clinical professionals, nurses, allied health practitioners, operational teams and corporate support staff.


About the Role

This is a true HR Business Partner opportunity supporting two hospital sites across Ipswich and North Brisbane. Working closely with senior leaders, you will provide pragmatic, solutions-focused HR support across a broad generalist remit, with a strong emphasis on:
  • End-to-end case management across clinical and non-clinical portfolios
  • Partnering with and coaching senior leaders to manage risk and drive people outcomes
  • Advising on performance, misconduct, grievances and sensitive matters
  • Supporting organisational change initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, awards and policies
  • Building leadership capability through coaching and guidance
This is a hands-on role requiring confident decision-making in a fast-moving clinical environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Demonstrated HR Business Partner experience in a complex environment
  • Strong case management capability across high-risk and sensitive matters
  • Confidence working with senior clinical and operational leaders
  • Sound knowledge of industrial instruments and healthcare compliance frameworks
  • The ability to balance commercial outcomes with patient-centred environments
  • Resilience, discretion and strong judgement
Experience within healthcare, hospitals, aged care or similarly regulated environments will be highly regarded.
