About the role:
We are seeking a HR Systems & Workflow Support Officer for a short-term assignment of 6–8 weeks to support a People and Culture team with system and workflow creation.
This role is delivery-focused and hands-on, with an emphasis on supporting existing processes and systems. You’ll focus on creating clear, accessible HR documentation for the intranet and configuring backend workflows to ensure requests and information flow smoothly to the right teams and stakeholders.
  
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Creating and maintaining clear, user-friendly HR documentation on an intranet
  • Designing and configuring backend workflows to support HR requests and approvals
  • Ensuring workflows are accurately routed to relevant departments and stakeholders
  • Testing workflows and making adjustments to ensure they function effectively
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure clarity
  • Providing hands-on support across HR systems and workflow activities as required
   
About you
This role will suit someone who is comfortable stepping into short-term assignments and delivering outcomes quickly.
  
You will bring:
  • Previous experience supporting HR systems, HRIS platforms or workflow configuration
  • Strong documentation skills, with the ability to translate information into clear intranet content
  • Proficiency across the Microsoft 365 suite, including strong working knowledge of SharePoint
  • Confidence working behind the scenes with systems and workflows
  • A practical, hands-on approach and strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently and deliver within tight timeframes
  • Experience working in complex or public sector environments is advantageous
  • Full working rights in Australia
