About the Organisation

This opportunity sits within a well-established, national FMCG manufacturing business with a significant operational footprint across Australia.
This site is one of its largest, with a workforce of 500+ employees operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

You’ll be joining a site with experienced leadership and a clear expectation that HR operates as a practical, commercially grounded partner to the business, supported by a broader HR function with specialist ER, Talent and L&D capability.

About the Role

Working closely with a highly experienced Site Manager with deep ER and IR expertise, you will provide end-to-end generalist HR support, with a strong focus on employee relations and supporting a blue-collar workforce particularly across maintenance and trades.

The site is currently navigating a period of operational change, and this role will play a key part in ensuring stability, consistency and strong decision-making across people matters.

About You
  
You are an experienced HR Business Partner who is comfortable stepping into complex environments and adding value quickly.

You bring:
  • Strong ER/IR capability, with experience managing complex and high-volume matters
  • A background in FMCG, manufacturing, logistics or similarly operational environments
  • Confidence partnering with frontline leaders, including maintenance and trades teams
  • The ability to operate with autonomy and sound judgement from day one
  • A pragmatic, commercially focused approach. You balance risk with outcomes
  • The confidence to challenge, influence and guide leaders where needed
  • A hands-on style visible, credible and comfortable on the ground
