We are seeking a proactive and experienced Human Resources Advisor to partner with operational leaders and corporate teams, providing expert HR guidance that supports organisational objectives and drives employee engagement.
The Role
As a trusted HR advisor, you will support operational leaders and employees across both field and corporate functions. You will provide guidance on employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, and workforce planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders, site managers, and corporate teams to provide HR support that aligns with operational goals.
- Collaborate with the Group Human Resources Manager to integrate HR initiatives into operational plans.
- Support workforce planning, recruitment, and talent acquisition efforts for field and corporate roles.
- Coordinate employee relations cases, ensuring fair and compliant resolution.
- Monitor compliance with employment laws, collective agreements, and company policies.
- Assist with organisational change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job advertising, shortlisting, interviews, reference checks, offers, and inductions.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all personnel data and records.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Clear, concise, and persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
- Adaptable and responsive to change, with sensitivity to cultural and organisational differences.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills, capable of gaining stakeholder commitment.
- Confident presenter with excellent public speaking skills.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum three years’ experience in a generalist HR role, supporting both blue- and white-collar workforces.
- Solid understanding of employment law and industrial relations, including experience within an EA framework.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, approachable, and able to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Pragmatic problem solver, flexible, and proactive in approach.
- Comfortable acting as a coach to managers and staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
