Based in the western suburbs of Melbourne, they are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Advisor to join their team. This full-time role offers you the chance to make a genuine impact by delivering comprehensive HR support across multiple worksites. 


About the Role

You will work closely with operational leaders and teams, ensuring that people practices evolve alongside ambitious projects. The environment is hands-on and high-growth, providing an excellent platform for professional development and exposure to large-scale operations.
  • Partner with managers to address complex employee relations matters such as performance management and industrial relations issues
  • Coach supervisors and team leaders on staff development initiatives and day-to-day HR queries
  • Plan and oversee talent management activities including onboarding new hires and conducting probation reviews
  • Maintain and refine HR policies, templates, and procedures so they remain compliant with legal obligations while meeting evolving operational needs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhancement within HR practices
  • Coordinate all aspects of recruitment and selection processes
About You
  • Construction or heavy industry experience is highly is essential
  • Demonstrated experience working with Enterprise Agreements or Awards within industry sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, energy sector, utilities, engineering is preferable
  • Proven ability to communicate with influence during discussions including performance management, industrial relations matters or off-boarding situations
  • Ability to coach supervisors and team leaders on staff development strategies while responding sensitively to day-to-day HR queries.
  • Strong interpersonal skills enabling you to build trust-based relationships across diverse teams at multiple worksites.
The role is hybrid, working one day from home
