A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join a respected Not‑For‑Profit organisation based in the Melbourne CBD.

This temporary role is ideal for a true HR generalist who can step in with confidence and provide high‑quality support across a broad range of people matters.

About the Role Reporting to the HR Manager, you will partner with leaders across the organisation to deliver practical HR advice, support day‑to‑day operations, and contribute to ongoing people initiatives. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, can work autonomously, and thrives in a purpose‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide generalist HR advice and support to leaders and employees
  • Manage employee relations queries and support performance management processes
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning
  • Support HR policy interpretation and application
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and HRIS data
About You
  • Proven experience in a Human Resources Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role
  • Strong generalist HR knowledge across ER, recruitment, performance, and policy
  • Ability to build strong relationships and partner effectively with stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Available for an immediate start
