This independent, purpose-led organisation operates across the utilities sector, delivering services that promote fairness, accountability, and positive outcomes for the community. With a workforce of approximately 100 employees, the organisation is continuing to evolve and expand its remit. About the Role
As the Learning and Organisational Development Consultant, you will partner closely with the Head of People, Culture & Capability and senior leaders to identify capability needs, design and deliver development initiatives, and support organisational effectiveness. This is a hands-on role with meaningful exposure across the employee lifecycle, offering an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong L&D foundation to further develop their organisational development capability.
You will balance strategic contribution with practical delivery, supporting leaders to embed effective learning solutions, uplift capability frameworks, and strengthen ways of working. The role provides genuine scope to grow within the OD space while making a tangible impact across a purpose-led organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
Partner with senior leaders to identify organisational capability gaps and development priorities
Design, deliver, and evaluate learning, leadership, and capability initiatives
Facilitate workshops and blended learning programs
Support organisational development and change initiatives
Build strong, credible relationships to influence and embed capability outcomes
Act as a trusted advisor, proactively anticipating future capability requirements

About You:
Tertiary qualified, you are a Learning and/or Organisational Development professional with 3–4 years’ experience and are seeking to deepen your exposure within OD. You bring a practical, outcomes-focused approach and enjoy working closely with senior leaders to influence capability, culture, and performance. Comfortable operating autonomously, you thrive in environments where relationship-building, credibility, and learning agility are critical.
