About the Role
The Manager of  Talent & Workforce Strategy is a pivotal leadership role, combining strategic insight with operational execution. Beyond managing the recruitment team, and day to day effectiveness of this function,  this role enables the organisation to deliver on its purpose by creating a talent strategy that supports the current programs of work, and the planned future growth of the business.  You are joining an established function, but where there is so much opportunity to mature and optimise what they can do for the business.
In this role, you will:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that supports both business growth and the organisation’s social purpose; Casuals, permanent, assisted workers.
  • Partner with senior leaders and HR Business Partners to forecast workforce needs and design scalable, purpose-aligned hiring plans.
  • Coaching and mentor the recruitment and wider HR Team, looking at contemporary ways of sourcing
  • Enhance employer branding and showcase the organisation as a leader in inclusive employment
  • Monitor and analyse recruitment metrics (time to hire, quality of hire, candidate experience)
About You
You are a strategic, values-driven Recruitment leader with the capability to operate confidently at both strategic and operational levels. You combine commercial acumen with hands on experience leading a Recruitment function, you look for how things can be done better and in a sustainable way.   You enjoy the blend of day to execution and longer terms projects and planning. 
You will demonstrate:
  • Proven experience designing and executing long-term talent acquisition and workforce strategies aligned with business objectives and organisational purpose.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership experience in mentoring or leading recruitment teams to high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills, leveraging analytics and market intelligence to enhance recruitment outcomes.
  • A passion for inclusion, social impact, and creating exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.
