About the Role

The Operations Training Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the site's technical learning and capability development across their operations workforce.

Based south-west of Brisbane, leading a team of 4, this role is responsible for:
  • Conducting learning needs analysis and link training to site performance.
  • Developing competency frameworks and skill matrices for production staff.
  • Working with subject matter experts to design training materials and manuals.
  • Overseeing training schedules and delivery to ensure standards are met.
  • Managing accredited training packages and ensure licenses are current.
  • Managing learning budgets for operational and product training programs.
  • Facilitating training or coordinate outsourced programs as required.
  • Maintaining LMS and training records to ensure accuracy and usability for production staff.
About You

You will possess the following:
  • Strong compliance and governance focus, particularly safety training.
  • Experienced in operational/technical training in manufacturing or FMCG environments.
  • Competent with LMS platforms and training data systems.
  • Cert IV in Training & Assessment or relevant adult learning qualification.
  • Experience with production-based training, onboarding, and distribution centres.
  • Budget management experience and oversight of accredited training packages.
