A well-established, multi-site heavy industrial business has a permanent opportunity for a hands-on senior HR Business Partner to join this successful business and wider HR team.
About the Role
You will work closely with your stakeholder group and various centres of excellences to ensure strategic alignment. Supporting a diverse mix of operational functions across several sites, this senior role offers a blend of strategic and operational responsibility including:
- Providing expert advice on ER matters, including investigations, to ensure compliance and positive outcomes.
- Playing a key role in negotiating enterprise agreements, with a strong focus on managing union relationships effectively.
- Supporting corporate restructures and offering strategic guidance during periods of organisational change.
- Drive high-impact people and change initiatives right down to front line operations.
- Travel to multiple sites when required.
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in HR business partnering within a complex, large blue-collar organisation.
Experience in managing union relationships and leading enterprise bargaining will be essential for this role. Strong ER and investigation skills, along with the ability to engage senior stakeholders to drive outcomes, will be also be critical, as well as familiarity with managing both white-collar and blue-collar workforce challenges.
This hands-on senior role requires strong gravitas and the ability to connect with employees working onsite.
Centrally located in Brisbane + 1 day WFH, competitive salary + bonus.
