This leading Australian organisation has recently gone through a period of significant change and transition, with the People & Culture function being reshaped to support the business moving forward.

You will be joining a collaborative, high performing People Assist team that plays a key role in delivering HR operations and shared services support across the organisation.

About the role
This is a hands on HR Shared Services role focused on Workday transactions and supporting the team during a busy period. You will step in and immediately add value by taking ownership of transactional workflows and helping relieve pressure on the broader team.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Processing employee lifecycle transactions in Workday including hires, transfers and changes
  • Reviewing and approving contracts, letters and documentation
  • Managing a shared inbox and triaging incoming requests
  • Providing Tier 1 HR advice to employees and managers
  • Responding to queries through ServiceNow or similar systems
  • Liaising closely with Talent Acquisition and the wider People & Culture team on onboarding activity
  • Ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery of all transactions
About you
You are an experienced HR Shared Services or HR Coordinator professional who is confident working in Workday and can hit the ground running. You thrive in a high volume environment and bring strong attention to detail.
You will have:
  • 1 to 2 years experience in an HR Shared Services or HR Operations environment
  • Strong hands on Workday experience (essential)
  • Exposure to ServiceNow or similar case management systems
  • Experience processing contracts and HR documentation
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive, team focused approach with strong communication skills
