About The Role

This role will lead the People Assist function, delivering consistent, high-quality employee services and accountable oversight of complex people matters, enterprise agreement governance and HRIS process integrity, while ensuring compliance and effective HR operational delivery across organisational change and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of 10, building governance rhythms and building team capability to deliver consistent, high-quality employee services
  • Own the end-to-end employee service model across the employee lifecycle & oversee advisory and case management activities, including performance processes, investigations, pre-employment checks and policy-related matters.
  • Ensure sound judgement, disciplined documentation and timely escalation of higher-risk or specialist matters to BP's, ER and relevant subject matter experts
  • Provide operational governance of enterprise agreements, including pay increases and conditions administration, coordinating payroll and HR system impacts, validating operational readiness and ensuring accurate, risk-controlled execution.
About You
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation and application
  • Strong people leader with experience managing large teams
  • Adept at managing high volume case management and investigations
  • Workday experience is highly desirable (or success factors)
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, everchanging environment
