HR is well-regarded, embedded and highly trusted across the business, playing a key role in both operational delivery and enterprise-wide initiatives.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, People & Safety, this People Business Partner role sits within a large, established and highly collaborative P&S function.
You will partner closely with a senior leadership cohort, as well as engaging with Executive stakeholders, making this a visible and influential role across the organisation. The position is both strategic and hands-on, with a strong focus on enabling leaders, strengthening capability and ensuring effective HR delivery. Key areas of responsibility include:
- Partnering with leaders on organisational change, including workforce planning
- Managing complex employee relations matters, including grievances, investigations, Code of Conduct issues and psychosocial risk
- Interpreting and applying the Enterprise Agreement in a practical, operational context
- Preparing and presenting HR metrics and insights to support leadership decision-making
- Supporting upcoming Enterprise Agreement negotiations
- Contributing to broader cultural transformation and organisational initiatives
About You
You are an experienced HR Business Partner who thrives in complex, evolving environments and enjoys being close to the business during times of change. You are pragmatic, resilient and hands-on, with the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery. Trusted by leaders, you bring sound judgement, clear communication and a calm, solutions-focused approach.
We are particularly interested in individuals who demonstrate:
- Strong capability in ER/IR, including managing sensitive and high-volume employee matters
- Confidence supporting restructures, workforce transitions and organisational change
- Commercial acumen and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- A collaborative, grounded approach with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Experience in industrial or geographically dispersed workforces will be viewed favourably.
- Hybrid working model (3 days in office, Hills District location)
- Monthly travel to regional NSW sites (including occasional overnight stays)
