About the Company


Join this well-known multi-national organisation who are a leading supplier into the construction industry as a P&C Business Partner, responsible for the WA and SA portfolio. The primary purpose of this position is to provide effective and efficient P&C advice and support to the business leaders.

About the Role

Key responsibilities:

  • Coaching and mentoring leaders in relation to workforce planning, performance reviews and development plans, employee engagement, employee reward & recognition, change management, talent and succession planning
  • Provide specialist IR advice and support to leaders with respect to Agreement negotiations, legal compliance, contract and policy/procedure interpretation, union relationship management, and disputes and legal cases
  • Provide support and advice to leaders to build a high-performance culture through, managing poor performance, training & development activities and the effective enactment of P&C policies and procedures
  • Maintain an expert working knowledge of relevant legislation and employee & workplace relations trends and new initiatives impacting the business
  • Provide IR advice to line Managers in P&C Policy & procedure, Award/EA or CA/Contract interpretation, and assist/support in agreement negotiations, disputes and legal case management
About You

  • Tertiary qualifications mandatory, preferably in Human Resources
  • Management / Industrial Relations or a related field
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law
  • Presentation and facilitation skills
  • Well-developed computer skills including HRIS
  • Experience working in a unionised / industrial work environment is essential
