About Them
Our client is a well-established property and real assets organisation with a national footprint and backing from a broader international group. Known for the quality of their developments and the way they operate, they take a long-term, considered approach with a genuine focus on people, partnerships, and sustainability.

With a mid-sized team across Australia, the culture is collaborative, grounded, and refreshingly down to earth. People tend to stay, relationships matter, and there’s a real sense of pride in the work.

About the Role
This People & Culture Business Partner role sits within a small, high-performing team, acting as a true 2IC and supporting a diverse portfolio of senior leaders across both operational and corporate functions. It blends strategic partnering with hands-on delivery, requiring someone comfortable moving between big-picture thinking and day-to-day execution.

Working closely with your stakeholders, you’ll provide commercially grounded HR advice across organisational design, workforce planning, and leadership capability, while also driving core people processes such as talent reviews, succession planning, remuneration cycles, and onboarding. You’ll contribute to learning and wellbeing initiatives, alongside broader, globally aligned HR programs and systems, bringing a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach and building trusted relationships across the business. Key focus areas include:
  • Partnering with senior leaders to deliver both strategic and operational HR support
  • Driving core talent and performance processes with consistency and quality
  • Supporting organisational design and workforce planning initiatives
  • Contributing to learning, leadership, and wellbeing programs
  • Building strong, trusted relationships across the business
About You
You are an experienced HR Business Partner who is hands-on, practical, and comfortable getting stuck in. You don’t shy away from work that needs to be done and are known for your ability to move quickly, stay calm under pressure, and just get on with it without overcomplicating things.

You bring strong judgement and credibility with senior stakeholders, alongside a straightforward, solutions-focused approach. You’re not precious about the type of work in front of you. You’re equally comfortable operating at a strategic level as you are rolling up your sleeves to deliver, and you take pride in following things through properly.

Experience in a complex or fast-moving environment will be valued, as will your ability to build trust, navigate different working styles, and contribute positively to a collaborative , down to earth team culture.
