About the Role
Reporting to the Head of HR, this People & Culture Business Partner role sits within a large, well‑established and busy P&C function that is highly relied upon by the business. Partnering closely with senior leaders including a highly engaged and supportive General Manager you will play a key role in supporting leaders through ongoing workforce change, operational realignment and external scrutiny, providing practical HR advice in a complex and evolving environment.
The role is hands‑on and broad in scope, with responsibility across both day‑to‑day people matters and longer‑term change. Key areas of focus include:
- Managing complex employee relations matters, including grievances, investigations, Code of Conduct issues and psychosocial risk
- Supporting leaders through workforce movements and role changes
- Interpreting and applying the Enterprise Agreement.
- Preparing and delivering regular HR metrics and insights to divisional leadership teams
- Contributing to enterprise agreement negotiations scheduled later this year.
- Supporting broader cultural and organisational transformation initiatives.
You are an experienced generalist HR Business Partner who is practical, grounded and comfortable operating in complexity. You’re happy rolling up your sleeves, provide clear and balanced advice, and are trusted by leaders for your judgement and calm approach.
Demonstrated success working in diverse operational and professional environments is valued. Most importantly, you’re motivated by purpose‑led work and enjoy being close to the business during times of change and can work as a team player.
Additional Info:
- Hybrid working with an expectation of three days per week in the office
- Periodic travel to regional NSW (approximately monthly, occasional overnight stays)
- Salary of $140,000–$150,000 + super, with flexibility up to $160,000 + super for strong IR capability
