About the Role

Reporting to a fantastic, highly supportive People & Culture Manager, the role supports across a generalist remit with a strong focus on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management and HR administration - this is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in shaping the employee experience within a business of approximately 150 employees.

Acting as a trusted advisor to managers, you will provide accurate and timely advice on award interpretation, HR policy and day-to-day people matters. You will oversee recruitment processes and will support performance frameworks and case management. You’ll have the opportunity to get involved in a broad range of HR activities, contribute to ideas, and make a positive impact. 

About You

You’re a proactive and people-focused HR professional who enjoys variety and thrives in a collaborative environment.
You’ll bring:
  • Previous experience in an HR/People & Culture Coordinator or Administrator role, or a Recruitment Coordinator role who genuinely wants to transition more into a HR Generalist role
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A genuine passion for people and workplace culture
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
  • The ability to work autonomously while being part of a close-knit team
  • A relevant qualification in HR or a related field
  • A background in a heavy industry environment - mining, construction, manufacturing
