Role Overview

As the People & Culture Director for PwC's Advisory business, you’ll act as a trusted thought partner to the Advisory Leader and play a key role in the national People & Culture leadership team. You’ll lead a team of 5–6 HR Business Partners, supporting several thousand professionals across the Advisory business, and play a lead role in shaping and executing a people strategy that enables high performance, engagement, and inclusion at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Act as a trusted advisor and coach to the Advisory Leadership Team
- Design and deliver a forward-looking people strategy aligned to an ambitious growth agenda
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of HR Business Partners
- Strengthen the HRBP model by leveraging Centres of Expertise across Talent, Reward, ER and Learning
- Support transformation and innovation across the full employee lifecycle
- Drive leadership capability, culture change, and inclusive practices
- Reimagine ways of working using digital tools and platforms
- Represent PwC in external networks and contribute to the firm’s employer brand
You are a commercially astute and influential HR leader with deep experience in large, complex organisations. Professional services experience is essential—you understand the pace, stakeholder environment, and partnership-led models. You’ve led teams through change, coached senior executives, and created environments where people and performance thrive. You’re energised by transformation, experienced in strategic delivery, and passionate about inclusive, values-led leadership. A background in tech consulting or global business models will be highly regarded, and you’ll be comfortable working flexibly and travelling interstate as needed.
