About the Role
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, People & Culture, the People & Culture Manager is a hands-on operational HR leader responsible for the end-to-end employee lifecycle and delivery of key People & Culture initiatives. This broad generalist role includes:
  • Implementing People & Culture strategies and initiatives across the business
  • Managing recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, and employee transitions
  • Providing trusted HR advice to leaders and employees
  • Facilitating the fortnightly payroll process and ensuring compliance requirements are met
  • Supporting employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives
  • Driving continuous improvement across HR systems and processes

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Maintain accurate and compliant payroll and HR processes
  • Enhance employee engagement and capability
About You  
You are an experienced HR generalist with relevant tertiary qualifications and a passion for creating positive employee experiences. You are organised, resilient and comfortable balancing operational priorities with broader people initiatives.
You will ideally bring:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner role
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary HR practices and employment legislation
  • Experience managing end-to-end recruitment and employee relations matters
  • Exposure to payroll administration and governance
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • HRIS experience and continuous improvement mindset, ideally ELMO
  • A current Working With Children Check (or the ability to obtain one)
