About the Role

This is your chance to be part of the development of innovative, enterprise-wide People & Culture reporting and analytics.

Reporting to the Director of Shared Services, you will:

  • Design intuitive dashboards, performance metrics and predictive models that support strategic planning and workforce optimisation.
  • Provide expert insights using new tools.
  • Drive a culture of data literacy and collaboration across the University.
  • Translate complex data into compelling stories that influence real-world decisions.
This role isn’t just about reporting—it’s about unlocking the power of people data to fuel transformation and deliver tangible value.

The People & Culture Data & Reporting Analyst will contribute to projects, develop performance metrics, and ensure a high standard of customer service for internal and external stakeholders. 
  • This position is classified as a HEW 8 - ~$128,700 to $134,550 (inclusive of 17% superannuation)
  • Superannuation can be reduced to 12% for higher base salary
About You

The ideal candidate:
 
Qualifications
  • Relevant qualifications in Data Analytics, Data Science and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. 
  • Relevant qualifications in Human Resources and extensive relevant experience
Experience:
  • Proven experience in HR reporting, data analysis, and dashboard development
  • Advanced skills in analytical and business intelligence tools (e.g. Excel, Python, SQL)
  • Strong understanding of HR systems, data governance, and compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a sharp attention to detail
