About the Role
As People Service and Operations Manager, you will oversee the design and delivery of core HR services and drive initiatives that improve efficiency, and user experience. The role is newly defined and being brought to bring focus and improvement across all areas of the HR services across the employee lifecycle.
With your team you will:
  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, streaming of employment contracts
  • Optimise HR systems (HRIS, case management, document automation) and maintain data integrity
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Centres of Expertise to deliver seamless HR solutions
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, industrial instruments, and internal policies
  • Lead and coach a high-performing People Services team, fostering accountability and service excellence
  • Support change initiatives and system/process enhancements across the HR function
About you
You are a seasoned HR professional with deep experience in HR service delivery, operations, and process improvement, ideally gained within complex or multi-site environments. You bring a practical, hands-on leadership style and are comfortable operating at both a strategic and operational level, with a strong focus on improving service quality, efficiency, and employee experience.
You will also bring:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, along with 7–10 years of HR experience, including leadership
  • Strong capability in leading and developing high-performing teams, coupled with experience working with HR systems ideally SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Kronos, or similar platforms
  • Well-developed stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with a blue collar operational workforce highly regarded
